We had 96 angler’s come out and try their luck on an overcast and very windy day. The lake was high and muddy from recent rains and we felt like conditions were right for us to finally weigh in a fish over 5 pounds at this event. Greg Sink tried hard with a fish weighing 4.99 that fell victim to a Spinnerbait on a laydown. Chris McClanahan came through with a 5.35 that he caught on a crankbait.
We were able to pay out over $7,500 in cash and prizes on the day. David Gunderman was able to win an hour out of a boat purchased from Angler’s Choice so he will receive a $500 bonus.
