The championship will be on High Rock Lake on November 4th from 7am – 3 pm.
The lake will be off limits from 10/29 – 6am on 11/3. 11/3 will be the official practice day.
The tournament format will be the same as in 2017. You can launch from any ramp but can NOT begin fishing until 7am. You will fish all day and bring your single largest fish back to the weigh station at Tamarac marina by the end of your respective flight. Flights will have 50 angler’s in them and be drawn by our weigh in software. IF YOU ARE FISHING OUT OF THE SAME BOAT WITH ANOTHER QUALIFIER PLEASE LET ME KNOW THAT SO I CAN TAKE YOU OUT OF THE DRAWING AND GET YOU IN THE SAME FLIGHT AS THAT PERSON. DEAD FISH PENALTY WILL BE 4 OZ. Flights will be every 20 min. Example. Flight A 3:00PM, Flight B 3:20PM, Flight C 3:40. YOU MUST BE AT THE WEIGH IN TANK BEFORE THE CLOCK READS YOUR FLIGHT TIME! Example. If you are in flight B and your weigh in time is 3:20, you must be in line at the tank before 3:20. Your catch will not count if you are late.
Registration is now open. If you plan to fish please send a deposit of $65 or the full entry fee of $125 by midnight on 10/27. The remaining balance of $60 will be due before you begin fishing on 11/4. You can make payments at www.fishbbb.com, at Angler’s Choice Marine In Lexington or K&J Bait and Tackle in Jamestown. Food Will be served at the weigh in and boats will be there giving demo rides. Here is a sample payout based on 150 entries. Payouts will be more or less depending on final number of competitors.
