This was a great day to end the 2018 Big Bass Bash year. It started out at a nippy 34 degrees with bright sun, it quickly warmed up and the clouds rolled in. Several angler’s commented that got the fish fired up while others wondered if there were any fish in the lake.
Robert Mixon figured out the one that mattered. He reported catching the big 7.04 pound fish on a Chart/White spinnerbait fished around a dock around 12 o’clock. The majority of the big fish came on a spinnerbait with a few reported being taken on Jigs fished around piers.
Thank you to everyone who came out and fished this event with us. We ended up with a great turnout of 151 angler’s. With the great turnout we paid back 31 places and over $40,000 on the day.
2018 has been an incredible year for us with record numbers of angler’s and payout. THANK YOU to everyone who fished with us this year, without you we wouldn’t have a trail so I sincerely thank each of you. We were able to payout over $85,000 this year through 7 events!
