We had 163 anglers come out to try their luck on a pleasant, late June day. With the great turnout we were able to pay out almost 12k in cash and prizes.  Anglers reported not catching a ton of fish but the ones that did bite were solid. Nick reported catching the winning fish on a Carolina Rig. Anglers said they caught fish from the backs of pockets to about 15′ deep and everywhere in between on a variety of lures including topwater, crankbaits, jigs and big worms.

This was our last event until September. I hope to have the revised schedule out soon with the new championship date where someone will win a new Triton and Mercury package from Angler’s Choice!
